UK - NESTA makes two new hires
NESTA, the National Endowment for Science Technology and the Arts, has appointed Dr Mike Lynch as chair of its investment committee and Matthew Mead as managing director of investments.
Lynch is the founder of Autonomy, the UK's largest software company by market capitalisation.
Mead was a former partner at 3i's venture capital business, specialising in ICT. He recently led the secondary market disposal of 3i's venture portfolio of assets in both the US and Europe.
