POLAND - Close Brotheres appoints head

Kersten joins Close Brothers Corporate Finance from Lazard, where he was responsible for its Central and Eastern European business. He has lived and worked in the region since 1990.

In the mid-nineties Kersten was US Treasury Advisor to the Polish Minister of Finance and was given a Citation of Merit for his leadership in the privatisation of Bank Handlowy, Poland's lead corporate bank at that time.
