
FRANCE - Linklaters names new counsel
Linklaters has promoted Kathryn Merryfield to the role of counsel.
Solicitor of the supreme court of England and Wales since 2001, Merryfield joined Linklaters' London office in 1999, before moving to the Paris office in 2003. She specialises in banking law and has worked on deals such as Apax Partners' recapitalisation of groupe IEE with BNP Pribas, and with Royal Bank of Scotland for Danone's acquisition of Numico.
