UK- Blackstone-backed Deutsche Telecom may sell UK operations
Blackstone-backed Deutsche Telecom is reportedly under pressure from its main shareholders to sell its troubled UK mobile operations, T-Mobile.
T-Mobile is just the fourth-largest competitor in its market against rivals 3, O2, Orange and Vodafone.
The highly competitive market, the decline in profits in Britain and the US and the strong Euro have all been cited as reasons for the company's financial problems.
