ITALY - Intesa Sanpaolo acquires Centroplast
Intesa Sanpaolo has led the acquisition of packaging company Centroplast in a management buyout deal.
The operation was carried out through a vehicle backed by Fondo Centro Impresa (Intesa Sanpaolo) and Athena Private Equity and between them, the two will retain 91% stake. The remaining 9% will be held by the management team.
The company specialises in flexographic and rotogravure flexible packaging and reported a turnover of approximately EUR 40m in 2007.
