Avedon Capital buys and merges VisionsConnected, Viju
Dutch private equity house Avedon Capital has acquired and merged Netherlands-based software business VisionsConnected and Norway-based Viju.
The deal sees the GP create a group that expects to generate €100m in revenues. The business will specialise in designing, installing, servicing and supporting physical and virtual meeting room environments for audio and video conferencing.
Following the transaction, the Amsterdam-based group will pursue additional acquisitions, according to a statement.
Odd Sverre Østlie, previously CEO of Viju, will be appointed as CEO of the group, while VisionsConnected founder and CEO Raymond Alves will be appointed as chief solution officer.

Established in 1998, Viju specialises in communication services including video conferencing, audio-visual integration and unified communication and collaboration. Headquartered in Stavanger, Norway, the company has seven offices throughout the US, the UK, Norway, the Netherlands, Singapore and Malaysia.
VisionsConnected was founded in 2007 and develops cloud-based video conferencing services for customers in 120 countries. The company is headquartered in Amsterdam and has 70 employees.
