Meta Change Capital launches €100m fund
Newly established venture capital house Meta Change Capital (MCC) has launched its debut fund with a тЌ100m target.
The fund is dedicated to investments in blockchain companies across Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa. It is expected to hold a final close in Q4 2020.
MCC was founded earlier this year by Nikola Stojanow – who launched AE Ventures, a Bulgarian investment platform for early-stage blockchain startups – and Luka Sucic, former head of investments and acceleration at AE Ventures.
"When we invest, we tend to sit on boards not as observers, but as a pair of hands and eyes that help the founders succeed," said Stojanow. "We genuinely love helping founders, as we were once founders and understand the struggles and pain they go through."
The fund will invest primarily in series-A rounds and beyond. It has already performed due diligence on 30 startups.
