Equistone fund holds fourth close on €1bn
Equistone Partners Europe Fund IV has held a fourth close on approximately €1bn.
Investments from the fund will range from €50 to €300m.
Equistone Partners Europe Fund IV held a first close on around €500m in November 2011, when the firm spun out from Barclays Bank.
Equistone Partners manages two other funds in the same value range: Equistone Partners Europe Fund II closed on €1.65bn in 2005, and Equistone Partners Europe Fund III closed on €2.4bn in 2007.
Equistone declined to comment.
