AKD appoints Schuering as corporate lawyer
Benelux law firm AKD has appointed Allard Schuering as a senior corporate lawyer.
Schuering took up his new position on 1 August. As part of his new role, he will be working in AKD's finance and structuring practice group, where he will be part of the notarial international corporate law practice.
He will provide advice on a range of transactions across various sectors, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, private equity, international restructuring, and corporate governance. He will also act as boardroom adviser for listed companies.
AKD currently counts 220 lawyers, civil-law notaries and tax advisers. It mostly provides advice on legal and tax regulations to businesses dealing in the Benelux region.
The firm recently opened up an office in Luxembourg and recruited 15 tax advisers with an international focus.
