Vendis appoints Riisberg as senior adviser in Nordic region

Riisberg will join the Nordic-focused team at Vendis; the team notably counts Joris Van Troos and Cedric Olbrechts.

Prior to joining Vendis, Riisberg was founding partner of Alipes – a consumer goods fund in the Nordic region – as well as board member for a variety of consumer goods companies.

The firm is currently investing via Vendis Capital II, which closed on its €180m hard-cap in May 2016. The vehicle deploys equity tickets in the €5-40m range.

Following its investment in Copenhagen-based Ferm Living, Vendis is looking to strengthen its position in the Nordic region and plans to further invest there.
