IK Partners readies Nomios for upcoming sale process
IK Partners has appointed Bank of America to guide its exit from Nomios, a Netherlands-based IT services provider, two sources familiar with the situation said.
The London-based sponsor is preparing the sale of the company, which offers cyber security consultancy, third-party hardware and software and managed security services, the sources said. A formal process is expected begin in Q3 or Q4 of this year, with the auction potentially running into 2023, the sources added.
The company, which has booked LTM EBITDA in the region of EUR 30m-35m, is expected to be valued at around EUR 800m, the sources said.
Formerly known as Infradata, the company provides cybersecurity and network services to large enterprises, tier-1 service providers, public institutions, datacenter operators and cloud providers. It reported in November 2021 that its turnover grew by 30% per year to EUR 250m.
IK Partners acquired the company from Waterland Private Equity Investments for an undisclosed sum in 2018, fending off competition from financial sponsors Bridgepoint and Rivean Capital (formerly Gilde Buy Out Partners), as previously reported.
Founded in 2004, the company employs over 170 engineers, has around 40 technology partners and runs 11 offices across seven countries. The company has strategic partnerships with vendors including Palo Alto Networks, Juniper Networks, F5 Networks, Cisco, Vectra AI, Fortinet and Cybereason.
Representatives for IK Partners and Bank of America declined to comment. Nomios did not respond to requests for comment.
