
NPM appoints Drost as MD
Benelux-based private equity firm NPM Capital has hired Jeroen Drost as managing director.
Drost joins NPM following a six-year stint as CEO of Dutch merchant bank NIBC from 2008 until April 2014.
From 1995 until 2008, Drost held various positions at ABN Amro, including CEO of the Asia business unit from 2006-2008, head of corporate development and global head of corporate finance.
Drost will join NPM on 1 February 2015.
The firm hired Piet Hein van Niekerk as a new investment manager in September last year. In October, the GP acquired a 70% stake in Iddink Groep, a Dutch provider of educational services and materials, from Nordian Capital Partners and several minority shareholders.
