
Indinvest leads $9.4m series-B for Ngdata
Idinvest Partners has led a $9.4m second tranche in the series-B funding round for Belgian customer intelligence software developer Ngdata.
The additional capital injection brings the total amount of the series-B round for the company up to $20m. Idinvest led the funding with participation from existing investors, including Pamica, Smartfin Capital, Capricorn Venture Partners, Nausicaa Ventures and several business angels.
As part of the deal, Editions Lefebvre Sarrut CEO Dominique Illien will be appointed to the company's board.
The company states it will use the fresh capital to accelerate its global sales and boost its marketing strategy, in particular for the company's customer experience operating system, Lily Enterprise.
Previous funding
The company initially raised a $2.5m funding round in October 2012 from an investor syndicate comprising Sniper Investments, Plug and Play Ventures and corporate ING.
More recently, Capricorn led a $3.3m round in September 2013 to support the company's growth. Subsequently, Idinvest led a $10.2m first tranche as part of a series-B round for the company, alongside Capricorn and Nausicaa in October 2015.
