
ATV leads €4.2m funding round for Enervalis
Venture capital firms including ABB Technology Ventures (ATV) have provided a €4.2m venture funding round for energy optimisation software developer Enervalis.
Besides ATV, Belgian investment company LRM and Limburg-based sustainable public funder Nuhma also backed the round. All three investors are members of InnoEnergy's venture capital community.
The funding will be used for the development of Enervalis's new product, Smartpower, which enables energy producers, storage providers and consumers to optimise their energy demand.
Furthermore, the company is looking to collaborate with ATV to develop a flexible smart home device, called Living Space, with Enervalis's software to provide users with energy savings.

Enervalis is a developer of cloud-based energy optimisation software for electric vehicles, buildings and microgrids. The company is based in Houthalen, Belgium, and was founded in 2013 by Stefan Lodeweyckx.
