TIIN leads €5m series-A for shipping app SendCloud
Dutch venture capital firm The Informal Investors Network Capital (TIIN) has led a €5m series-A round for its portfolio company SendCloud.
TIIN led the funding round alongside Dutch venture capital firm henQ, which currently manages its third €50m henQ III fund, and existing investor Brabant Development Agency (BOM). TIIN injected capital via its TIIN TecFund 3 vehicle.
The e-commerce shipping app aims to use the fresh capital to bolster product development and its presence across the European market.
Previous funding
SendCloud received a first €665,000 seed investment from Startupbootcamp in 2014 and a second seed financing round from Sanoma Ventures and other angel investors in January 2015.
In February 2016, TIIN led a €2m seed round for the business alongside BOM.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Eindhoven, SendCloud operates in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
The company offers cloud-based shipping software, which enables online stores to operate cost- and time-efficient shipping across national borders. The business claims to reach 1,500 online retail clients with its platform and employs 55 people.
