
Main Capital's Roxit bolts-on Brein
Main Capital-backed Roxit Group has wholly acquired Dutch cloud solutions provider Brein for an undisclosed sum.
Main Capital acquired a majority stake in Roxit in 2015 via its third and fourth funds, Main Capital III and Main Capital IV. The former typically targets €2-6.5m investments.
Roxit was established in 2007, it is headquartered in Zwolle and also has operations in Arnhem and Zoetermeer. The company produces and delivers software and services for information management to authorities. Clients are mainly from the public sector in environmental services and water management sectors. The group was expanded with the acquisitions of Green Valley and Crotec in 2015 and with PSMS in 2016.
Main Capital manages several private equity funds with assets under management of €375m, for investments in mature but growing software companies in the Benelux and DACH area.
