Holland Ventures-backed Avensus buys ICT Visions
Holland Ventures-backed cybersecurity and cloud technology service Avensus Group has acquired Dutch ICT Visions, an information and communications technology support company.
A source close to the deal confirmed that Avensus acquired a majority stake in ICT Vision. Unquote understands the management team of ICT Vision and Avensus's managing directors Abram Schermer and Ed Trautig have retained minority stakes.
Holland Ventures has injected new capital in Avensus to fund the acquisition. The GP invested in Avensus towards the end of 2016.
Avensus was founded in 2000 and provides manageable and secure IT solutions that contribute to cost control, continuity, secure storage and data protection. The company is headquartered in Alvere.
The acquisition of ICT Vision by Avensus will allow the latter to reach annual revenues of €50m. Avensus plans to pursue a buy-and-build growth strategy, acquiring subsidiaries that function in their own niches.
