
Newport Capital backs Cow Hills
Dutch VC firm Newport Capital has backed Cow Hills, a Dutch omnichannel point-of-sale software provider.
The Newport Buyout Fund I Cooperative vehicle was used for the transaction.
Newport Capital is an independent venture capital company that focuses on investments in Dutch companies operating in the food, packaging, manufacturing, financial and business services sectors that have annual profits of €2-7m.

Cow Hills designs and develops a point-of-sale software that aims to enhance customer experience and engagement for international retailers. The omnichannel software suite is entirely based on Microsoft cloud technology.
Founded in 2006, Cow Hills is active in 12 countries. Customers include Hema, Rituals, Hunkemöller, Zeeman and La Place. The company is headquartered in Maarn and has a branch in Cape Town.
