
Endeit leads €6m series-B for Virtuagym
Endeit Capital has led a €6m series-B funding round for Amsterdam-headquartered Virtuagym, the provider of a cloud-based fitness software platform and mobile apps.
The fresh capital is intended to fuel the international expansion of the company. This will include expanding into new markets such as yoga, martial arts and dance studios.
Amsterdam-headquartered Endeit is currently deploying from its internet-focused €107m second fund, Endeit Fund II.
Previous funding
In January 2013, SanomaVentures acquired a minority stake in Virtuagym for $900,000. The funding was aimed towards financing the company's ongoing international growth.

Founded in 2008 and headquartered in Amsterdam, Virtuagym is an online fitness software platform for consumers and professionals in the health industry. It mainly offers basic exercise, personal training, and tailor-made nutrition plans for users through its platform. The firm employs a staff of 200 and operates offices in Amsterdam and Medellín. It serves businesses in the fitness space in 80 countries, including the US.
