Corviglia holds first close on $250m
Corviglia Capital has announced a first close on $250m for its financial technology VC fund, Corviglia Capital Fund.
The vehicle was registered in Luxembourg in July 2018 and is targeting a final close on $500m.
Corviglia was founded by Petr Šmída (co-founder of CEE/DACH-focused VC firm Enern) and Cezary Smorszczewski (co-founder of Polish unicorn Alior Bank).
The fund aims to deploy the first $350m in the first three years of its investment period.
It will invest tickets of $10-50m in exchange for minority stakes in later-stage fintech companies. The VC said it is geographically agnostic.
