Elysian's Key Travel bolts on Raptim
Elysian has supported portfolio company Key Travel in the acquisition of Netherlands-headquartered humanitarian- and faith-focused travel agency Raptim Humanitarian Travel.
The acquisition is the first bolt-on made by the company under Elysian's tenure and comes six months after the GP acquired Key Travel from Livingbridge with capital drawn from its £250m second fund.
According to a statement, the deal will see Key Travel wholly acquire Raptim and will lead to a consolidated business with revenues of around £350m and a headcount of more than 500 across 10 countries. It will also significantly increase Key Travel's footprint in continental Europe and double its presence in the US market.
Elysian CEO Ken Terry told Unquote that it is likely that further add-on deals will be explored in the coming months.
