Atomico invests $24m in Framer
VC house Atomico has invested $24m in a series-B round for Netherlands-based Framer, a company providing design tools for digital applications.
A spokesperson for the VC confirmed that the $765m fund Atomico IV, closed last year, was used for the transaction.
The series-B round will help Framer to expand internationally, hire staff and continue product development.
This latest investment brings the total funds raised to date by the Amsterdam-based startup to $33m, according to a statement.
Company
Framer, founded in 2014 and based in Amsterdam, designs creative tools for digital applications, used by companies including Dropbox, Pinterest and Twitter. The company currently employs 45 staff.
