Main Capital-backed Muis acquires Ctrl
Muis Software, a portfolio company of Main Capital, has acquired Netherlands-based accounting software provider Ctrl from Deloitte.
Following the acquisition, Ctrl intends to expand further into the Dutch, UK and Canadian markets. The acquisition is also intended to expand Muis's product portfolio.
Main acquired a majority stake in Netherlands-based Muis in 2017.
The management team of Ctrl will remain employed at the company. The combined company will have more than 50 employees.

Ctrl offers a cloud-based collaboration platform, which helps accountants to digitalise their clients' interactions with governments, chambers of commerce and banks. Based in Utrecht, it claims to have more than 20,000 users. Founded in 2004, it employs more than 20 people in one location.
