
IceLake Capital buys NetRom
Dutch private equity firm IceLake Capital has acquired a majority stake in Dutch-Romanian software developer NetRom.
The investment company took over the shares of a group of informal investors, the vast majority of whom have been involved in NetRom since inception.
IceLake stated it will support the company's growth by investing in targeted acquisitions to strengthen the head office in the Netherlands. It will also invest more than €10m in the construction of a business campus of 30,000m2 for employees in Romania, according to a statement.

NetRom was founded in 1999 and is headquartered in Breda. With an annual turnover of around €20m and more than 330 employees, it develops software in the telecoms, fintech and healthcare sectors. Its clients are independent software vendors and the IT departments of listed companies worldwide.
