
Slingshot, Jamjar back €10m series-B for Boldking
Slingshot Ventures, Jamjar Investments and several undisclosed private investors have backed a €10m series-B round for Boldking, a Dutch online business that produces men’s razors and bathroom products.
Boldking expects the investment to consolidate and expand its European business.
Jamjar Investments invests in early-stage and growth rounds, writing tickets of £150,000-10m per round. It recently participated in the £10m round for UK-based nanny training company Koru Kids, as reported by Unquote.
Amsterdam-based VC Slingshot Ventures invests €500,000-10m per investment, with a focus on technology-enabled companies.
Previous funding
In January 2016, Dutch VC Tablomonto Ventures backed a seed round for Boldking, investing an undisclosed amount; JamJar Investments and Slingshot Ventures also participated in further a round in February 2016.

Boldking was founded in 2013 by Rochdi Darrazi and Tibo Thijs. It has 28 employees according to LinkedIn.
The company produces men’s razors and related bathroom products. It also offers razor subscription services and a blade recycling programme. Boldking has more than 500,000 customers across 11 countries.
