
Mentha buys and merges Paradigma and BlijWerkt
Dutch GP Mentha Capital has acquired a majority stake in Netherlands-based Paradigma Group and Gilde Healthcare-backed BlijWerkt, two HR specialists.
Gilde Healthcare was invested in BlijWerkt since 2011, according to the GP's website.
Mentha will merge Paradigma and BlijWerkt, forming a new group that will employ 400 people. Paradigma's director and founder, Rudo Vissers, will stay on as director and remain a shareholder in the group.
The new private equity owner is currently investing via its Mentha Capital V fund, which closed in January 2017.
The transaction is subject to the approval of the Dutch Healthcare Authority.
Company
The two companies are HR specialists, managing absenteeism and health policies within organisations. They currently have 500,000 affiliated employees throughout the country. Paradigma and BlijWerkt are respectively based in Nieuwegein and Woerden.
