IK to acquire Acture Groep
IK Investment Partners has agreed to buy Netherlands-based Acture Groep, a social services provider, from the company's founders.
Maudie Derks will remain the company's CEO and will reinvest alongside IK.
The asset was marketed based on EBITDA exceeding €6m, Unquote sister publication Mergermarket reported earlier this month. Lincoln International advised the sell-side, according to the report.
The GP is acquiring a majority stake, investing via its €550m IK Small Cap II fund, which closed in Q1 2018. The fund typically backs companies with enterprise values of up to €100m across the DACH region, the Nordic countries, France and Benelux. The Acture transaction is the ninth investment made by the fund.
Company
Acture groups businesses providing specialised outsourced services to Dutch corporates and temporary staffing agencies to manage cases of illness or disability in their workforces. It was founded in 2008 with the purpose of reducing absenteeism and employer costs amid the complex and evolving Dutch social security system. The company is based in Nijmegen.
