Jerusalem Venture leads $25m series-C for Pyramid Analytics
Jerusalem Venture Partners has led a $25m series-C funding round for Amsterdam-headquartered business-intelligence platform Pyramid Analytics.
This round brings the total funding raised by the company to $66.5m.
Existing investors Sequoia Capital, Viola Growth and Maor Investments also took part in the round.
The company intends to use the fresh financing to expand its global footprint, enlarge its client base and further consolidate its market position.
Israel-based Jerusalem Venture Partners is an international venture capital firm. It has raised $1.4bn across nine funds and invested in more than 140 companies across Israel, Europe and the US.
Previous funding
Sequoia Capital led an $11.5m series-A round for Pyramid Analytics in March 2013. In conjunction with the funding, Haim Sadger, partner at Sequoia Capital, joined Pyramid Analytics' board.
Subsequently, Viola Growth led a $30m series-B round in October 2015, with participation from Sequoia and other investors.

Established in 2008, Pyramid Analytics develops business-intelligence software and enterprise analytics for governmental organisations and private companies operating in the insurance, retail, education, healthcare, financial services and manufacturing industries.
Its platform allows business users to work with their existing data, infrastructure and sources, while applying machine learning, building models, exploring business problems, presenting analytic content and sharing data insights across the enterprise.
The company is headquartered in Amsterdam, with additional offices in Tel Aviv, Israel, Seattle and Boise in the US, and Farnborough, UK.
