TIIN Capital and Brabant in €2m seed round for SendCloud
Dutch startup SendCloud has raised a €2m seed round led by compatriot venture capital firm The Informal Investors Network Capital (TIIN).
The Dutch venture capital house drew down equity from its TIIN TecFund 3 vehicle. Brabant Development Agency also joined the funding round.
Eindhoven-based SendCloud aims to create a pan-European shipping network for small and mid-sized online shops based on partnership with shipping providers across Europe, including DHL, PostNL and UPS.
Previous investment
SendCloud received a first €665,000 seed investment from Startupbootcamp in 2014 and a second seed financing from Sanoma Ventures and other angel investors in January 2015.

Founded in 2012 and headquartered in Eindhoven, SendCloud operates in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
The company offers cloud-based shipping software, which enables online stores to operate cost- and time-efficient shipping across national borders. The business claims to reach 1,500 online retail clients with its platform.
