Rabo Ventures and Value8 invest €4.5m in Ceradis
Rabo Ventures and Value8 have committed €4.5m to a new financing round for Ceradis, a Dutch producer of crop protection products.
While Value8 has been invested in the company since 2010, Rabo joined as a new investor.
Company
Ceradis is a producer of environmentally friendly crop protection chemicals that are used for fruit and vegetables, such as potatoes, tomatoes and grapes.
The company is based in Wageningen and is a spinout from Wageningen University.
People
Koen van Engelen led the deal on behalf of Rabo. Kee Kopmans led the additional investment from Value8. Win van der Krieken is director of Ceradis.
