Abris appoints Stanculescu as head of Romania office
CEE-focused private equity firm Abris Capital Partners has appointed Adrian Stanculescu, currently an investment director at the firm, to head up its Romania office in Bucharest.
Stanculescu will assume responsibility for the supervision and operation of the office in Bucharest with immediate effect. He will head the Abris team of four investment professionals targeting mid-market investment opportunities in Romania across a range of commercial and industrial sectors.
The Abris portfolio in Romania has grown in recent years and includes parcel delivery businesses UrgentCargus, recycling business Green Group, and Pehart Tec, a producer of tissue paper reels and consumer tissue products under the Pufina brand.
Since joining Abris five years ago, Stanculescu has been responsible for originating and supervising transactions, as well as the development and value enhancement of portfolio companies.
