BaltCap unveils €20m Lithuanian risk capital
BaltCap and European Investment Fund have signed an agreement to set up a €20 million risk capital fund for small and medium Lithuanian enterprises.
As one of the first risk capital fund to invest in Lithuanian SMEs, BaltCap has succeeded in drawing interest from private fundraisers.
Europen Investment Fund Chief Executive, Richard Pelly, says: "The initiative will finance high potential SMEs in a new way, providing an added value both by strengthening their capital bases but also developing a new generation of entrepreneurial leaders in the market."
Simonas Gustainis, Baltcap partner says his company is "very enthusiastic about the development opportunities which Lithuania SME Fund shall provide to Lithuanian businesses."
