Rhea Venture acquires DentIstanbul
Rhea Venture Capital Investment Trust has wholly acquired Turkish dental care provider DentIstanbul from Global Environment Fund (GEF).
GEF invested $17m in the company in 2007, which did not generate desired profits and was almost forced to be liquidated.
Rhea was founded in 1996 and is the first venture capital investment trust in Turkey. Its 2010 investments include companies such as Nortel Netaş, Seta Medikal, Netsafe Bilgi Teknolojileri, Envitec Çevre Teknolojileri and Marferi Feribotları.
