Intel Capital appoints investment director
Intel Capital has appointed Kirill Cehoval as investment director for Russia and The Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
Cehoval will work alongside Maxim Krasnykh, Intel Capital director for Russia and CIS, to source new deals and manage the firm's portfolio in the region.
Prior to his recent appointment, Cehoval was vice president at Altera Capital, a $500m investment fund focused on TMT and consumer services. He is a former investment officer at Alfa Capital Partners, a $700m private equity fund focused on mid-cap opportunities in Russia and CIS.
Cehoval started his career at Credit Suisse in the investment banking division, based in New York. While at the firm, he advised multinational and Russian businesses on M&A and capital markets transactions.
Intel Capital began investing in Russia in 2000. Portfolio companies include Mango Telecom, a provider of business communications software-as-a-service; and Eruditor, an online marketplace for freelancers.
