Mid Europa acquires Med-Sport
Mid Europa has wholly acquired Polish healthcare services provider Med-Sport for an undisclosed amount.
The deal marks a further move in Mid Europa's strategy of consolidation in the Polish healthcare market, initiated with the acquisitions of Lux Med and Medycyna Rodzinna in 2007, CM LIM and Promedis in 2008 and TP Med and Tabita in 2009.
This latest investment joins Mid Europa's portfolio of diagnostic assets, which the firm plans to formalize into a dedicated diagnostic, laboratory and hospital services platform.
Med-Sport offers CT and MRI imaging diagnostic services to public and private customers, through five facilities located in Southern Poland.
