Enterprise Investors to close €57m XTB deal next week
Enterprise Investors is to close its expansion capital injection into Polish brokerage house X-Trade Brokers next week, unquote” has learned.
The transaction was announced at the end of October and was awaiting approval from the Polish Office for Competition and Consumer Protection and the Polish Financial Supervision Authority.
Enterprise will take a significant minority stake in the Warsaw-based target. This is EI's 19th investment in the financial sector; others include Kruk, Magellan, Skarbiec, Netrisk.hu and Euro-Tax.pl.
X-Trade Brokers is a brokerage house focused on forex, commodities, indices and CFD products in central and eastern Europe. It serves more than 25,000 individual clients in more than 20 countries with net profits of more than €12m in 2009.
