CVC opens Warsaw office, led by new head Krawczyk
CVC Capital Partners has appointed Krzysztof Krawczyk as head of the firm’s Polish operations, opening a new office in the country’s capital Warsaw.
The new office follows the recent €477m deal to acquire Polish National Railways' energy unit, PKP Energetyka, which was the GP's first stand-alone direct investment in the country.
CVC's new head of Poland, Krawczyk joins from CEE-focused mid-market private equity outfit Innova Capital, where he was managing partner. He is also the vice-president and treasurer of the Polish Private Equity Association.
Prior to his 14-year stint at Innova, Krawczyk was a senior investment analyst at Pioneer Investments Poland for two years, and a researcher at the Daiwa Securities' Institute of Research.
