Target Global and EBRD in $20m series-C for DocPlanner
Target Global has led a €20m series-C funding round for Warsaw-based medical appointments software company DocPlanner, alongside the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Enern Investments.
The latest round of funding brings the total raised by DocPlanner to $34m and comes as the startup announced the merger with its Spanish competitor Doctoralia, according to Tech.eu.
Through its merger with Doctoralia, DocPlanner will gain better access to the Spanish and Latin American markets.
Previous funding
According to unquote" data, DocPlanner first raised VC backing in 2012, when it took a $1m injection from Point Nine Capital, Piton Capital and RTA Ventures.
In September the following year, it raised a $3m series-A round and topped up with a $10m series-B in May 2015, led by the EBRD.

The company is headquartered in Warsaw and operates across 25 countries, claiming more than eight million monthly users. DocPlanner employs 142 people.
