Skolkovo leads $4m round for Roistat
Russian VC firm Skolkovo Ventures has led a $4m funding round for Moscow-based analytics software business Roistat.
Marketing data firm Itech Capital also took part in the financing; the company has a strategic partnership with Skolkovo.
Skolkovo manages three VC funds - Industrial Fund, IT Fund and Agrotech Fund - according to its website. It has an AUM of RUB 5bn across those funds.
The fresh capital will be used to build more functionality into its platform, such as predictive analytics and voice recognition in calls.
Company
Roistat was founded in 2014 and is headquartered in Moscow. It collects user and audience data for companies and uses it to compile reports. It claims to have 5,000 small and medium-sized businesses as clients. The pre-money valuation of the company was between RUB 1-2bn.
