PVP fully acquires Avenir Medical Poland
Private Venture Partners (PVP) has acquired the remaining shares in Avenir Medical Poland, a Polish company managing chains of opticians.
This was the second phase of the transaction; in May 2018, the fund acquired an initial 56% stake in AMP from the company's founders.
Following the latest transaction, AMP's co-founders, Jacek Skolski and Pawel Gredysa, will cease to be members of the management board, but a significant part of the operational management team will remain unchanged.
AMP is the first so far for the PVP fund, which seeks to invest up to PLN 20m in small and medium-sized enterprises, Puls Biznesu reported.
PVP managing partner Marcin Slomski said that currently the PE firm focuses on the AMP transaction, and has no plans to invest in companies from other sectors in the immediate future, according to Puls Biznesu.
