Syntaxis provides mezz loan to eSky
Syntaxis Capital has provided eSky, an online travel agent in central Europe, with mezzanine financing totaling €11.5m.
A small part of the commitment was used to buy out one of the company's minority investors. The remaining capital has been earmarked to support geographical expansion and bolt-on acquisitions in Europe and Latin America.
The majority of Syntaxis' investment came in the form of warranted mezzanine, with a direct equity co-invest portion.
The company, which is owned by its founders, had not raised financing from a financial investor prior to the deal.
