
Mir Capital buys stake in Packer Service Group
Mir Capital has made its first investment with the acquisition of a non-controlling stake in Russian oil and gas solutions firm Packer Service Group.
The investment will fund the acquisition of new technology equipment to expand the company's service offering.
Mir Capital is the private equity fund launched by Gazprombank and Intesa Sanpaolo to back medium-sized Italian and Russian companies and strengthen industrial and commercial ties between the two countries. The fund is able to invest up to €300m.
