
InVenture leads $1m investment in CrowdSystems
Moscow-based InVenture Partners has led a $1m series-A investment in retail analytics start-up CrowdSystems.
The fresh capital will be used to develop the company's platform as well as broaden its range of tools for data mining.
Previous funding
CrowdSystems previously received seed funding from Moscow Seed Fund.
Company
Founded in 2012, Moscow-based CrowdSystems provides retail audit and consumer research tools to retailers and brands. It operates the TopMission app for smartphones, which pays users to perform simple tasks, such as giving their opinions on products and ad campaigns, in order to collect qualitative research for clients.
Customers include Colgate-Palmolive, Svyaznoy and RedBull.

Dmitry Bezyzvestnyh is co-founder and CEO of CrowdSystems. Sergey Azatyan is co-founder and managing partner of InVenture.
