
BaltCap commits €1m to Clusterpoint
BaltCap has invested €1m in Latvian data management company Clusterpoint.
Part of the capital committed was provided by the EU-sponsored Joint European Resources for Micro to Medium Enterprises programme.
The capital will be used to support the firm's international expansion.
Imprimatur Capital provided seed funding for the company in 2006.

Clusterpoint is a Latvian database management company that provides internet access to managed data. The company claims it has greater energy efficiency than other data centers, due to its hardware.

Martins Jaunarajs, investment director, led the deal on behalf of BaltCap. Gint Ernestsons is co-founder and CEO of Clusterpoint.
