
Actera Group buys 50% of Celebi Aviation Holding
Actera Group has acquired a 50% stake in Turkish aviation services business Celebi Aviation Holding, according to reports.
Actera hedged its investment by providing equity in two currencies, paying TRY 82m and $97m for the stake. The transaction will transfer 50% of the company's shares to Actera's Dutch subsidiary Zeus Aviation Services Investments.
The Celebi family will retain 22.63% of the company, a stake worth TRY 90m. Upon completion of the deal, the Celebi family and Actera will have equal voting rights and administrative control of the company.

Celebi Aviation Holding is part of Istanbul-based aviation services company Celebi Group. It caters to the civil aviation industry in Turkey, Hungary, India, Austria and Germany. Its services include ground handling, cargo services and warehouses operation.
Celebi Group was founded in 1958, while the current holding structure was established in 1995. The holding group is divided into four segments: aviation, maritime, transportation and food.
