
Union Square backs Jobbatical’s €1.9m series-A
Jobbatical, an Estonian platform for global tech jobs, has raised €1.9m from Union Square Ventures, Local Globe and SmartCap.
The company will use the new funding to further develop its product in order to improve user experience, and also plans to triple its team in 2016. Jobbatical is about to open a regional hub in Singapore.
Previous funding
In September 2015, SmartCap, along with Easypress Group, Ekspress Grupp and other investors, backed the €510,000 seed round for Jobbatical.
The company raised another seed round in November 2014, when SmartCap along with Trind Investments, ImCap Finland and Camelus Invest OÜ invested €260,000.
