Advent International backs American Heart Poland
Advent International has invested an undisclosed amount in health care provider American Heart of Poland (AHP).
The investor believes AHP offers opportunities for further expansion and will support the company with its global operational expertise in the health care sector.
AHP is looking to build up its cardiac and vascular surgery as well as cardiac rehabilitation.
Company
American Heart of Poland is an operator of cardiovascular treatment units in Poland. A number of 16,000 people including 5,000 with myocardial infractions were treated in AHP's 19 centres last year. The company also operates a department for cardiothoracic surgery and has invested more than PLN 300m in the last 11 years.
