Innova Capital backs Ujastek Hospital
Innova Capital has invested in Poland-based Ujastek Obstetrics and Gynaecological Hospital.
Innova backed the company through the Innova/5 vehicle, which closed on $388m in 2009. The GP will invest more than PLN 150m in the company over a two-year period to boost growth.
The investment will underpin the establishment of a chain of hospitals and clinics providing medical care in gynaecology, obstetrics and neonatology with a particular focus on intensive care for newborns.
Company
Founded around 12 years ago and based in Cracow, the Ujastek Hospital provides obstetrics, neonatology and gynaecology care in Poland. The hospital cooperates with the National Health Fund so that all treatments conducted at the hospital are reimbursed.
