Founded in 2002 in Koszalin, Intymna is an online lingerie retailer. The company realised a turnover of PLN 2m (c€550,000) with 15 staff in 2006. The investors aim to reach a turnover of €5m within the next four years, expanding the company’s business to luxury sports clothing and sports equipment. The lingerie market in Poland reaches €1bn, and there is great untapped potential in the online retail segment, said the investors.
