Mid Europa acquires Customer Management Center
CEE-focused private equity outfit Mid Europa Partners has bought Turkish call centre and customer management service Customer Management Center (CMC).
CMC was carved out of Danish facility services provider ISS, which EQT fully exited earlier this year.
The investment was made through Mid Europa's latest fund, the €800m 2013-vintage Mid Europa IV, and is the GP's second in Turkey.
It is also the firm's third buyout in 2015, having acquired Romanian healthcare provider Centrul Medical Unirea from Advent earlier in August, and Danube Foods Group in February.
Mid Europa's plan for CMC is to consolidate and grow the company's position in the Turkish outsourced call centre sector, which the GP sees as very fragmented.
Company
Founded in 2000, CMC is a Turkish outsourced call centre and customer management services provider based in Istanbul.
The company employs 4,500 people across 10 offices in Turkey.
People
Mid Europa's Berke Biricik and Can Karapençe worked on the transaction alongside partner and head of the company's Istanbul office, Kerim Turkmen.
Advisors
